ABOUT EUROPEAN UNIVERSITY OF ROME

Founded in 2004 by the religious congregation of the Legionaries of Christ, the European University of Rome (Università Europea di Roma) is part of the Catholic Church’s academic tradition and a global network of universities. As a private, legally recognized institution, UER grants degrees with full legal value in Italy and the EU.

The university offers Bachelor’s degrees in Economics and Business Management, Psychological Sciences and Techniques, and Tourism and Land Management; Master’s degrees in Economics and Innovation Management and Psychology; as well as a single-cycle Master’s in Law and Primary Education Sciences.

UER’s campus is designed with a modern, open layout – barrier-free, with shared study spaces, a well-equipped library, leisure areas, a cafeteria, and classrooms available for student use even outside lecture times. It’s a campus built for student life, learning, and community throughout the day.

Staff and faculty are accessible and responsive, ensuring quick answers and a smooth administrative experience. The university offers free parking, fast Wi-Fi campus-wide, and is easily reachable by public transportation – just a 10-minute train ride from Stazione di San Pietro. With 24/7 on-site security, students can study and socialize in a safe, supportive environment.

CREDITS & GRADING at EUROPEAN UNIVERSITY OF ROME

The academic credit system adopted by Italian universities is based on “CFU” (acronym for “Crediti Formativi Universitari”). A CFU corresponds to 25 hours of work per student, including time for personal study. For each course, the student gains a determined number of CFU. Università Europea di Roma recognizes the equivalence 1 CFU = 1 ECT and adopts an ECTS mark conversion scale:
