Lucia, Germany
Hi to everyone. I am Lucia and I am studying International Communication back at my home university in the Netherlands. After my social year abroad in Costa Rica, I discovered my passion for getting to know new cultures - their food, places and people - and new continents. That is why I decided not only to do one single minor in Madrid but also to go directly for another one in Bali. I am very grateful that Asia Exchange gave me this opportunity and supported me in the best possible way. Gizem, Germany
Hello everyone!
안녕하세요 여러분! 🙂
I'm Gizem from Germany, 20 years old, and currently studying at HUFS in South Korea. Thanks to Asia Exchange, I was able to fulfill my dream of studying and living in Seoul, my favorite city.
Back home in Berlin, I study psychology, but unfortunately, Germany has very strict regulations regarding the recognition of psychology modules from abroad. That’s why I can’t take psychology courses in Korea. However, HUFS offers a wide variety of courses across many fields, giving me the chance to explore new subjects that I’m really excited about!
I’ve always been fascinated by the Korean language and culture, and from the moment I first set foot in Korea, I knew I wanted to study here. The rich history, breathtaking landscapes, and vibrant people inspire me every day—and yes, I even dream about the food at night!
If you’d like to get a closer look at my life and studies in Korea, feel free to follow me on my social media and check out my blog! I’m always happy to answer your questions. 😊

Hi! My name is Charlotte, I’m a french student, and like many, I spent an absolutely unforgettable year studying at Hankuk University of Foreign Studies. To be honest, I chose South Korea not only for the classes I could take in my major or Korean culture, but mostly because I wanted to dance in some famous studios, in one of the most vibrant cities in the world. Life in Seoul is full of energy: from night markets to university festivals, from cafés to weekend trips...I man convinced it's probably one of the best cities to be a student ! I made amazing friends, did so many sides quests that i can even count them all, discovered a new culture (and food) and came back convinced that studying abroad is one of the best choices I’ve ever made. If you’re interested in HUFS (Hankuk University), life in Seoul, or if you also love dancing, I’d be super happy to help you get around the university process and give you all my tips! EMAIL ME

Barbara, Austria
Hi there! When browsing through all those different destinations where I could spend our exchange semester, I stumbled across Malaysia and instantly fell in love with it. Compared to other countries in this region, it has got better life and health standards, and as there are so many different cultures, the people there are very friendly and open-minded. Further than that, it's easy to afford, and I only found good reviews of studying there. So I thought: Why shouldn't I give it a try? EMAIL ME
