Crossing the DMZ is now as easy as ABC! Asia Exchange, a study abroad provider based in Finland, is pleased to announce a new partnership with the renowned Pyongyang International Technical University in the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea. This agreement constitutes the first study abroad program in North Korea. Students will be able to study abroad in the beautiful Pyongyang starting in autumn 2017 for one or two semesters.
Pyongyang International Technical University [PITU] is a leading university in North Korea. It can be considered the Harvard of Asia, except that the Ivy Leagues can’t compare to the supreme excellency of PITU.
New partnerships have been established with the Faculty of Piece and Diplomacy, Faculty of Dismantling of Nuclear Weapons, and Faculty of Neighbor Love. PITU’s Head of the International Office, Mr. Mik Cey-Il, reminds students to follow the structured itinerary at all times. Failure to comply will result in a lifetime visa free stay in North Korea.
“We are thrilled to work together with the leading university of North Korea. Korean peninsula is a strategically important region for us, and in the future we hope to start cooperation also with West Korea and East Korea”, states Harri Suominen, the Managing Director of Asia Exchange.
Asia Exchange’s advisor Peter Vesterbacka has played a significant role in giving birth to this collaboration by utilizing his close connections to the Supreme leader Kim-ono Uno.
As part of the program fee all students will get all the regular Asia Exchange services plus a free hair treatment.
Please be advised students wishing to study at PITU will have to modify their hairstyle following these official accepted styles:
