Student visa for international students
The country has two types of Student Visas: X1 and X2. The X1 visa is for students who plan to study in China for more than six months, while the X2 visa is for those who will be in the country for less than 6 months.
- Visit the Chinese embassy or consulate in your home country and bring the required documents:
- Acceptance letter from the Chinese University
- JW201 or JW202 (visa application form)
- Passport
- Passport sized photograph
- Physical examination result
You may leave to study in China after getting your student visa. Upon arrival, you must visit the Health Quarantine Bureau to confirm the physical examination result.
