Hey there! When we first planned our semester abroad, we were accepted to an university in Canada. But then we came across Asia Exchange and were amazed by the opportunity to study in Bali. Looking back, we could not be more grateful for letting the chance go of studying in Canada and going to Bali instead. In one semester, we grew personally and developed a business out of there after returning a half year later. Now we commute between Germany and Bali and love to call Bali my second home. A semester abroad is the best possibility to learn a lot about yourself and grow personally. Go to Bali, do some yoga, find your inner peace, and awake your true potential.

« Hi! I’m Nastassja and I studied at Hankuk University of Foreign Studies for not only one but two semesters! I guess I couldn’t get enough of Seoul since it’s an incredible city with so many things to explore… I am truly happy that I jumped out of my comfort zone to go to Korea although it is so different from my home country. The time is spent there shaped me in so many aspects…the fun stories, the memorable moments, and the sad goodbyes. But I can say for sure that living in Seoul for a year was the best decision I made until now. I know that the whole journey can feel difficult for you at times so I am happy to help you! »

« Hi! Even before choosing my University in Germany, I had already decided on where I would study abroad. Originally, my plan was to go abroad for one semester, now I am about to start my second semester at HUFS. That should speak for itself (and HUFS). I stayed for the interesting classes, the opportunity to learn more Korean and because there’s still so much I haven’t seen yet.

« Hello! My name is Umeda Hoffmann, I am 25 years old and I am from Denmark. I am a former Hankuk University of Foreign Studies student where I studied for one semester in 2021. It was the best time of my life. I met so many close friends, experienced a new culture and food and tried to study and live abroad for a while. I found the university through Asia Exchange and applied through them. They were super helpful throughout the whole process before arriving and during my stay in Seoul, and made my experience a lot easier and better. I am currently still in Seoul where I live and work as an English teacher but also as an ambassador for Asia Exchange.
