Are you not sure what you want to do next fall? How about studying abroad in Asia? That sounds like a good idea, doesn’t it? Read further to see why you should apply now!

Studying abroad is about experience new things and leaving your comfort zone!

Live in the now

Stop worrying about the future and the past – live in the now! You never know what will happen in the future, and if it seems you can go and study abroad this fall semester, why wait longer! Sometimes the best decisions of your life are the ones you make without thinking too much.

“It’s now or never. I ain’t gonna live forever. I just want to live while I’m alive.”

– Bon Jovi

Step out of your comfort zone

Most of us like their home – but that’s no reason not to travel! Studying abroad will make you open your eyes to different people, places, and cultures; many of our students say that they learnt a lot during their time abroad, and became more likely to interact with people they don’t know. And returning home, you will appreciate the good things of your home country even more (although you will probably be missing the best parts of the country you did your semester at as well).

It’s affordable!

Do you smoke cigarettes? One pack per day? We recommend you to stop. In many European countries a pack of cigarettes costs about 7 euros. So in one year that’s over 2,500 Euros! The good news, Asia Exchange programs cost less than this per semester. For example, a fall semester program in Phuket would cost only 1890 Euros! So quit smoking, and you’ll have some 600 Euros to spend towards your flights too. Combine that to the cheap living costs compared your home country and you will actually likely end up saving money compared to studying back home!

Get full ECTS study credits

You can gather up to 25 to even 35 ECTS credits depending on which Asia Exchange program you want to apply for. All our partner universities are internationally accredited, and most of the courses offered should qualify for being a part of your degree, depending on the line of your studies (check with your international office). So not only will you get to experience a new country and culture and meet people from all parts of the world, you will also come back home with a stack of study credits!
